AIA Life Designer : Caen Normandy University Hospital - AxeoBIM

The AxeoBIM collaborative platform has been selected by AIA Life Designers for the construction project of the Caen-Normandy University Hospital.

Project Description:

Announced in 2010 by Roselyne Bachelot, Minister of Health and Sports, the reconstruction of the Caen Normandy University Hospital was launched in 2016, for a budget of nearly €500M.

Located on the current UHC site (North Plateau), adjacent to the South Building which will be integrated into the project, the future UHC will offer 1397 beds and places in total capacity. The end of the project is estimated at 2026, which is nearly 10 years of construction operations.

The result of a major mobilization of the professionals of the Caen Normandy University Hospital, this new university hospital will enable the population of Western Normandy to benefit from a modern healthcare offer in optimal comfort.

" Promoting outpatient care, offering a high-performance, digital hospital, streamlining patient pathways and improving comfort and reception are the foundations of this project and of the future UHC."
